Jan-25-02, 03:08 PM (EST) "Bodiddly RR update: Shuckin' The Corn" Here's another foot stompin' hand wavin' bluegrass tune to whistle to while riding the rails of West Virginia and eatin' vittles. Don't worry, spikes are still being pounded into the ties as track is laid on the Bodiddly daily. It's during camp ground times after a good Possum stew and moonshine whiskey that I get together the Bodiddly band to crank out these Bluegrass gems.yeahThis is another Gary Allen midi I found amongst my data CDs strung with cobwebs. Spruced it up, gave it a drum track, gave the notes some life, found an old whiskey moonshine jug and then re-mixed the midi using some state of the art crap and wholla! Square dancing time!Look for the Shuckin' The Corn mp3 within the News link page at my site: www.edmfamily.com/msts/index.htmRich Garber

There's nothing there (on your news page). If that MP3 is small enough, could you e-mail it to me?

And it times out alot, or just stops and leaves the file name there but nothing is in it. If you all know anything that I can tweak to stop that sure be helpful.Anyway... the tune is ready to be listened to, heard and enjoyed by all you'ins Mountaineers!www.edmfamily.com/msts/index.htmRich Garber

Jan-26-02, 02:29 PM (EST) 7. "RE: Bodiddly RR update: Shuckin' The Corn" Cool you should say that. I just penned these words last night to a couple of fellas about the concept behind the route:"Ever play RR Tycoon 2? You know how you struggle to build your route, develope industries and try to make the line as profitable and efficient as possible? And then... then comes along the computer player and lays miles of track all at once right through it all with seemingly no rhyme or reason. And before you know it, you're competing to just stay afloat? That's what this second line is all about. You're the WV&O hauling mostly freight and some passenger. Then along comes J. P. Morgan and compay and he builds a fast efficient line through your area trying to bankrupt you. Rate War! How's that for a quick synopsis? But that's the gist of this route."That's just part of what I wrote. Unlike the Metro where you only got to run one route, on this one you have two. Actually, three if you count the logging routes, well four then... if you count the logging routes as separate sub-routes. Rich Garber Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
