Jun-18-01, 03:18 AM (EST) "New Steam Loco Model....J3a Hudson" Here is my first pass at the Empire State Express - its a J3a Hudson (4-6-4) built for a debut in 1941 (Unfortunately it's debut was overshadowed by a small incident in the pacific - the bombing of Pearl Harbor)

Then I need to edit the .eng file and the tender.wag files (customize everything for this engine). I need to track down some new sound files. I might make some different level of detail models to keep MSTS performance up.

It makes me want to actually take the time (and find the patience) to learn how to operate steam controls and keep the train under control on grades. A lot to do. It only gives me even greater admiration to the men who operated all this sophisticated equipment in the first half of the century (oops.....last century) . Let me know the root directory or photo overlays you plan to use for the cab. Would love to try designing an Erie Berkshire or O & W Y!!
