First things first... the gang here at East Metro RR would first like to wish you all a merry Christmas!Second of all... we also expect you out on the route working hard over the holidays.John Chamber's sequel to Retro Metro #1 is now available at my site, note.. this is a BETA. BETA as in, it's not a final release. Risky business here trying this download if you ask me. Please exercise extreme caution when using my installer which is just too easy to use... yet.... some of you.... and you know who you are.... are capable of bringing even a super computer to its knees... amazing what you people are capable of... *shaking head back and forth in disbelief* AAaaNNNYWWAAAYYY... If you're brave enough to try this BETA, be my guest. They'll be doughnuts and coffee (decaf especially for the Chicago crowd... and you know who I'm talking about, don't ya Jim? Couldn't resist... ) in the lobby at the web site. Please leave some for someone else. Last year this time we ran a little short... Were we here last year???Here's the link... Those are the first engines in my new Virtual Railway company called HESS virtual railways inc. no need to build a route as I'm already building one. its going to be. take a deep breath now. 3,000 miles of track. no thats not a typo. It'll run from New York to San Fransisco. most of the scenery and terain will be fictisious as I don't know how to use DEM and I don't think it'll cover that much ground. Jim if your reading this. I have something for your PO&N v5 take a looksie. and Rich I'm gonna get it first thing in the morning as I'm finishing matching Southern coaches to match TA's new Mountain steamer. I work fast at these skins. this loco here only took 2 hours. I'm still doing the coupler fix but when I need a break I do the skins. and look for the engine we talked about hopefully soon too. well I'm rambling as usual. Merry Christmas all!!! And no these aren't the HESS ones.lol hopefully a B unit will follow tom. I have to get permission from TA before I upload them though. Please note that the burlington emblem on the front has been changed to PO&N. ohh and SIR YES SIR. Engineer Topdog reporting for duty on this cold and stormy christmas day on the EMRR SIR. LMAO!! I love the EMRR and the retro packs. seeing as how I love steam and the EMRR you made me a happy guy. now for clarrification on my projects. yup. going to start the big guns after the coupler is fixed. the route is still pending about the start of it. I am going to do it just not sure when it'll get started or how long it'll take.No not in 3 weeks. I meant the big guns will take 3 weeks not all the projects. I like to work fast and get on with another project. I like to keep things fresh. If I let it get stale I never finish it because I loose interest. the coupler is nearing that point but that won't be halted. sorry for the PO&N F7 Rich but I know Jim reads your posts so I figured I'd put it here. no offense to the EMRR. I like both routes. yours more but don't tell Jim.lol. Someone asked for something along the lines of either an F7 or alco rs in PO&N colors so I did an F7. going to do an EMRR engine next. any one in particular you want Rich? how about one for the Bodiddly? you name what you want and how you want it and you'll have it within a few hours.
