Dec-15-01, 10:25 PM (EST) "new hopper cars" Okay here is some pictures of my project. I've got two different versions here one is the lite version and the other has got more detail. The lite model has weighs in at 960 polys and is missing such details as grab irons, some braces, and the coupler is just a black box. The other version weighs in at nearly 1400 polys but has the details listed above plus the couplers look like couplers. The question to the train sim community. How much demand would there be for one version over the other? What I have done in test consists is place two of the more detailed cars at the head of the train, a number of the lite cars in the middle, a couple of the detailed versions at the rear and then the caboose. I plan on uploading these shortly; however since the textures on the trucks and the wheels are not mine I have to contact their creator first and ask permission. Also could somebody tell me how to package my file for upload so that the file_id.dz and the readme.txt files can be read before downloading. Anyways here are the pics.
The lite version
and the detailed version
