Does anyone know of any .wav editor applications that are free (or inexpensive) and decent? I have goldwave's evaluation version, and it will eventually run out of commands requiring paying to continue to use it. While I am more than willing to pay for a good product, it is a quite high-priced (several hundred dollars IIRC) product for professional use. Since I just occasionally adjust an MSTS sound, it probably is not appropriate for my level of use. I only want to be able to adjust cues and other minor manipulations.Thanks.Bryce

Interesting. I could have sworn I saw it costing much mor money than that. Seems reasonable. Also interested in any other opinions before I buy this one.Thanks.Bryce
Bryce I use Goldwave also and have for sometime now.Get hold of John Greenstone as he uses a different program and the name escapes me right now. Just Rollin Down The Tracks Dale
I use the Nero Wave editor that comes with Nero 6 Ultra Edition CD/DVD burning software. Does everything I need, I use it to edit both wave and Windows media player wma files.
Hi Bryce,Don't forget to check out www.uktrainsim.com There's quite a few guys doing excellent sound add-ons for U.K. stock.I'm sure they'll be happy to advise/discuss this with you. I looked into "free/shareware" sound editing programmes a good few years back. There were plenty of good ones out there then. Trouble is that was in the days of Win98...... so Obviously things will have moved on.Geoff
