Your favorite rolling stock! – image 1

I know theres many post asking you to pick your favorite MSTS locomotive but Im doing something different. What piece of rolling stock made is your favourite? What 1 car do ya always try to sneak into a train? Passenger or Freight. Freeware or Payware. My personal favorite has to be Santa Fe caboose #999755 that comes with the Pacific Surfliner route. I think its very realistic but I think the caboose view could have been better, so I put in the default caboose view (One of the few default things thats good). Thanks for the great caboose, Marc!

RE: Your favorite rolling stock!

I would have to say if it is manifest train, just about anything my funnelfan is normally at the front or rear of the train, the two areas most viewed when in the sim. I also like the Corn Products tank car and the other tank car that were recently uploaded, both full of detail.Intermodel trains, I normally put in the TOFC cars, again by Funnelfan, and for containers, the containers from Cascades Crossing. I don't really have a true favorite, but there are certainly several cars that will always be included in every train though as more or more detailed stuff is uploaded, the rotaion varies.Chris Bogley

MLT's Railbox's from the Cascades route. They are in every single one of my manifest trains. The double stack cars from the route are in all of my stack trains, Ted's stuff (from the Centerbeams to the TOFC's to the AP Well cars) are popular too. Clayton Notgrass's Coal Hoppers find their way into all of my CSX unit coal trains. Dekosoft's Railboxes are really good too.But the one that is in all of my freight consists (This is gonna kill you Caboose fans) is the FRED from Cascades or from the LS&I route.
