Animated Police car now uploaded!

Here are 3 versions of a modern police cruiser for you Route builders.Even if you are not a route builder and do not know how to add scenery objects to a route, you can still add this model to the carspawners on any route by easily modifying your Carspawner.dat file. (Instructions included)Included are a... *Carspawner version with illuminated head & tail lights and model is raised .1 meter to ride ON most roads rather than through them!!!* A static version for route placement...non-illuminated and model sits level on terrain.* An Animated version with illuminated Head & tail lights and rotating & illumiminated lightbar/flashers (uses 4 rotating beacons with rotating alpha "light-glow" effects.You can also use the carspawner illuminated version for static placement but you will have to lower vehicle .1 meter to match terrain level. These models are freeware and maybe be freely used on your routes and uploaded and distributed non-commercially. Please give me credit on your readme if you don't mind, but if you forget...I wont sue...lolHere are some pix....static and carspawner illuminated versions..Carspawner version at night cruising the new Thompson expansion for the Canton route.

Thanks Ted, Your vehicles are great as well!!! If you have any problems with illuminating your vehicles, drop me an email as we're both using the same modeling program and I'd be happy to assist if needed.NOTE...the Animated version with flashing lights can only be used as a static scenery object and the object properties must be set to enable animation. Unfortuanetly, Carspawner vehicles do not support animation as I have already tried this.Edit...actually, you CAN use the animated police car in the carspawners BUT, you will not get animation <the flashers will be lit-up but will NOT be moving so I dont know how well they would look in such a capacity>LHW

To all who emailed me concerning the missing texture...I have sent it to you. Rather that upload a fix with just the missing texture, since the overall file size is small, I opted to just repackage the whole thing with the missing texture and have asked nels to delete the previous one. If you already have the police.zip but are missing the texture...just download the file again when its updated and just grab the missing texture and delete ther rest.LHW
