the new logo dash 9 that ws to replace the defult dash 9i did ... replaced the ace files and its all just a pinted jumpled mess.the original dash ace files are gone ... now ... is there someone who would be willing to send me the three ace files?file is bnsflogo.zip topher_dv@hotmail.com
The "newlogo Dash 9" ace files are flawed and will not work. They are not correctly mapped to the Kuju S file in either scale or placement, as putting the renamed ACE files into the default engine produces this shown below by Shape Viewer.Also there is a 3rd ACE file included that is a full cab interior which the KUJU model does not have, so is of little use.Likewise, the READ-ME file included is of little explanation or use.Doug
Hi I agrre with the 5622 qualkity but desagree about the 4723.The 4723 works correctly. I renumbered the loco as 4732 see photo.Also the 740 and the 5622 that I renumbered 5625 are running ok...see photoI can send the files if needed. Lucio
It's for the Dash 9 replacement, a freeware download from www.mapleleaftracks.com Always BACK UP what you change.... Do you already have the new files?
Dear rgh69:Yes it works now for me.....using the MLT Dash 9 instead.It would really be NICE if Uploaders WOULD TELL US WHAT THESE FILES ARE USED WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Activities-Routes, ACE files-Locos/Cars, etc)Especially this one.....there's just 3 ACE files and a very lame Read-me text that does nothing to mention the FIRST IMPORTANT fact, it is for a unit other than the MSTS default file.Doug
I'll say it also.These ace files were not intended for the default dash9 that came with MSTS.They were intended fro the MLT dash9.It's alway a good thing to read the instructions first.And always make a backup of your work.Claude Debnam NS Piedmont Division Raleigh East
If you would like the MLT-Dash9 without the M$ Logo then you can get if from here:www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/downloads/mlt-dash9.zipIt's self-contained, meaning it does need no support folders and has adjusted wheels and couplers. It's a direct replacement for the Default one, so back up it's folder first before installing this on, just in case ! O t t o
