I just uploaded the V4.7 sample .wag files. Obviously, there are way too many different possible cars or wagons to cover in this release, so please use the files as examples to modify the .wag files as needed. You may find Joe Realmuto's fcalc_20 is useful to get friction lines for cars not of the same size and weight as the examples. These files are an update to the V4.6 files release previously. Some may prefer the V4.6 settings, but both should give quite realistc performance in conjunction with V4.7 locomotives. Please let me know if you find any errors in the files, or have any problems as a result of applying them. Thanks, Bob Boudoin plainsman
Bob the time taken by you to upgrade the physics has not gone unnoticed..Big Thanks Now if others would go over a wag or eng file before uploading then it all would be good.Just Rollin Down The Tracks Dale
Yes, it's a shame to see coupler sections still in NEW uploads with out the /s added on the damping line. Or worse, wagon files with the extra bracket! I too am also very grateful for all the work you do Bob, Thanks.Craig
Thanks for the kind comments folks!! I will remind designers, the files are released as public domain, so you are free to use them in your models without asking permission, or creating any obligation, although I do appreciate a word of acknowledgement for the work. Thanks again, Bob
