I'm finally frustrated enough to beg your assistance. I have been operating MSTS & Canton/Suddenly for a year now and after having a corrupted file, I reinstalled MSTS with out a hitch, started program, no problem. I then loaded Canton, started program, no problem. I then loaded Suddenly and when I try to boot MSTS as it gets almost to the end of the boot and a little screen pops up and says: Error in database: ctn-gp9-611\ctn-gp9-611.eng.... If I delete the Suddenly add on and re-load the Canton program everything boots and operates. I have most of the the Canton and MSTS upgrades/fixes and I can't add those until I get the basic programs functioning properly. Also, since I have reinstalled everything I now have to have MSTS disk #2 in CD drive before the main program will boot. It booted before with out it! Go figure? If anyone can give me a boost up on this I certainly would appreciate it.Terry1
Hi Terry1,When you get an error like that it means that the sim can't find some rolling stock that an activity is looking for.You may have the rolling stock, but it is in a folder with a name other than what the sim is looking for or you are missing it altogether. The first part of the name (ctn-gp9-611) is the folder name and the second part if the file name.Make sure you have all rolling stock that is required for the Suddenly part of the route. Check the readme files that come with the addon.Regards,Eric
You guys were right on. I guess the first time I did everything I didn't have a clue as to what I was doing so I couldn't back track when I had to do it again. Thank you all so much for responding so quickly. I'm back up and running Canton like a champ again!Terry

If you download and install the MSTS1.2 update from the net ( http://www.microsoft.com/games/trainsimulator/downloads.asp ) you will not need to insert the CD any more. It is the same as what you have on the CD, with the exception the CD is not called for.RobertR .. ADF-M&RM at http://www.adfrr.com
