RE: Unable to find the following 2 files

wmb1941,The file you specified there is actually RS3_PRR_AI.eng, not A1 as you've stated. In order to create this, simply make a copy of the engine file to PRR_RS3 and open it up in wordpad. This is not your runnable engine, just an AI unit for activity AI traffic.To create the unit, you will wan to follow the following steps:For editing the file, open only in wordpad, nothing else.Once in the file, go to the edit drop down, and select find.Search for Cabview. You should come up with this:CabView ( gp38.cvf )This will be below it:HeadOut ( 1.682 3.23 -3.323 )You'll want to delete both of these lines. Next, do a search on sound. The first will come up like this:State (
Duration ( 0.0 )
LightColour ( 80ffffff )
Position ( -0.017 3.26 -7.45 )
Azimuth ( -180 -180 -180 )
Transition ( 0 )
Radius ( .4 )
)
)
)
)

Sound ( "gp38Eng.sms" )
)Leave this one alone, but click next, and whenever you see GP38cab.sms, wipe this column out.Every mention of PRR_RS3, should be changed to PRR_RS3_AI, except for the shape file reference. This stays at PRR_RS3, so as to use the original .S and .SD files.Hopt this helps. Never seen this PRR Tuscan F7a though...Thomas Pearce,

Click to send message via ICQ

Tom,
I tried to do what you suggested. I never could find the information below CabView (gp38.cvf)For example Head Out (1.682 3.23 -3.323) did not exist.I also had no information by searching on sound. I made sure I was using WordPad to edit the file. Bill

RE: Unable to find the following 2 files

Those look like files that might be required by an activity that you installed. Chances are that the information that you seek is in the "readme" file for that activity.Henry
