I have searched the help files in Kosmos and can't find an answer to how to get it to recognise new routes I have installed. Any clue would be appreciated, even a complete answer.

RE: Kosmos problems

Hi Sharon,When Kosmos loads it reads the route files and builds a list of routes. If you are using Train Store make sure the route is un-stored so Kosmos can find it.Make sure the .trk file for the route is in it's folder.Regards,Eric

RE: Kosmos problems

Eric,What I am encountering is Kosmos is showing all the routes that I had prior to getting Train Store. No route installed after Kosmos was installed shows. Train Store also does not seem to have any infulence, since Kosmos' route list is showing all the routes that are stored (the only thing I have unstored currently is several English routes I am running that I recently installed). I also checked, the unstored routes do have their .trk files in place.

RE: Kosmos problems

Sharon,I have both Trainstore and Kosmos. I have 2 ideas that might help, and have helped me. 1--be sure you have the latest version of Kosmos. He did put out an update that works better with trainstor.2--I don't know if this is required, but I like to do it to be sure there are no conflicts. Before I change any weather, I Unstore Everything. All routes show up, and I change whatever weather I want. Then I just reload the scenario I want to run.I hope this helps.Definitely try Unstoring Everything to see if Kosmos will now see all of your routes.Bryce

RE: Kosmos problems

Murphy was here.I just happened to hit the "reset folder" option and realized that Kosmos was looking at a backup of MSTS, not the working one.Oh well, corrected now and on we go.Thanks for the suggestion from all of you.
