I recently started getting interested in train simulators and have been looking for a good place to buy Train Simulator and addons. If you're looking to pickup some cool addons check out this Train Simulator page.I was also wondering what other cool addons are out there? Thanks,Tim
"I was also wondering what other cool addons are out there?" There's a great big world "out there". If you're interested in North American railroading, in addition to my small company (see links in my sig tags below), here's a few other commercial offerings for starters: http://www.edmfamily.com/msts/co.htm (Excellent route, lots of free engines, rolling stock, and additional activities, etc.)http://www.3Dtrains.com (Superb 1st generation locomotives and other goodies. Top notch forums.)http://dekosoft.com/trains/ (Excellent 2nd generation locomotives and rolling stock.)http://www.3dtrainstuff.com (Great long-haul routes, loco/rolling stock packs, both US and European.)http://www.sacramentolocomotiveworks.com (Modern locomotives, vintage locomotives, routes in progress.)http://www.elvastower.com (Nice forum with friendly enviorn.)http://www.mapleleaftracks.com (Currently restructuring, but product is still supposed to be available.)Have fun!Andre MingVisit VSC's temporary web page at: http://www.vscalecreations.comVisit VSC's Forum at: http://www.3DTrains.com
Beware if you buy from Abacus. I seen the link on your page there, The first two items is from Abacus and the rest is from mapleleaftracks.com. I don't know if you can get routes on CD's. MLT only has download version on their website. I just recently purchased the Bridge Line (download version) from their site when they reopened the shop for business. As for the Abacus stuff, I heard from different sources that they are not that great. I bought Abacus "Roundhouse" and "Locomotives of North America, USA and Canada" a few years ago and it's in the trash long gone. The "Roundhouse" has bunch of stuff that's available in the file library here at the form. The "Locos of NA", they use the same cabviews for all locomotives. BTW, beware if you buy from this store. They are Digital River. I had problems cancelling my order of the Bridge Line a few weeks ago. I don't think they have any CD's from MLT in stock. I already had 2 backorder emails from them before I decided to cancel my order. Ken Plaza
