Hi Jim -If you do a search of the Screen Shot forum under "philskene" you will see that I have been posting some pictures of the alternative Austral Bay route. It's progressing well.On the eastern side of the route I have added a small station that has some similarities with Sundermeyer, except that the player train MUST cross over the AI track. There a couple of small industries - concrete and wood based activities - and platform with a passing loop for player trains. The station is as yet un-named. With your permission I'd like to follow your PO&N tradition of naming it after MSTS luminaries. I had thought of Jamestown (there is a Jamestown in the mid-north of South Australia); but maybe Wardsville, ... . I'll leave this to your discretion. If you do not want to be associated with the Dark Side I understand perfectly.Cheers,
Phil

RE: Paging Jim Sniper Ward

Hi Phil,How about Snipersville as that seems to have more of a connection to Jim than the ubiquitous "James". There have not been any posts from Jim for well over a week now, so I can only assume He's been mauled by a certain Pit Bull terrier.Mike

RE: Paging Jim Sniper Ward

Hi Mike !I think Jim has got the same problem I have. The PON-9 finished, now what ? SCALERAIL it ? The MARIAS-KOOTENAI is far too big attempting to do that to it ! I am trying hard having something to do connected with Train Sims but there is not much I can get my teeth into worth the effort, just tinkering around here and there ! Take Care, O t t o.

RE: Paging Jim Sniper Ward

Hi Mike, Phil and Otto,
I'm affraid I gave Sniper a whole handful of work. This, plus the fact that his Video card gave up the ghost.
Jim is an absolute fantastic person, not that anyone does not know it, but I have to reiterate it here. He has offered to do a PON9-SA route, in a South African Flavoured, version. Absolutely super, by such a super human.
Take care,
Johan.

Yep, Johan, that's Jim alright ! I am glad you gave him something interesting to do ! Will be added to my Routes when it's done !!! Got a feeling it might use SCALERAIL ? Sorry Jim if I have shot your bolt, but having known you for some time now, that is just the sort of thing you are capable of ! Take Care, O t t o.

RE: Paging Jim Sniper Ward

Hi Otto,
I am sure that the route will be just as great as all the others Jim has done. You are most welcome to enjoy and add it, when finished. You will have to download the S.African Railways/Spoornet Trains though. I will supply you in due course with the url. Reason!: Trevor Staats has to upload another wagon from my stable, which are used in PON9-SA. ( Static as well as Activities )
Otto thanks for your participation and work done on the MP3-Kootenai Route...............needless to say that I've also added it to my ever decreasing HD space and increasing routes.
See ya!
Johan.
