I was running the latest version RouteRiter using the Fix ENG and Fix WAG options to fix case issues. In both cases it burped and nuked several of my .eng & .wag files. I've managed to fix some of them, but I need to know where I can locate the following files. I don't know what the original zip files were named. Anybody got any suggestions?BR153.eng Class166.eng Class166TOS.eng BRCL37183.eng ContainerTwin.wag cct.eng SD402-A.eng viaAMD103.via via_One.wag Any help would be greatly appreciated.Nick
Try searching the trainset folder for *.bak - I have a load of bak files and suspect that when any changes are made a bak file is made (I must read the manual sometime )
Hi Nick,Can you tell me which version of RR you used? I had a similar problem while testing, but did not think I had uploaded the bad one. Sorry if this caused you problems. This option does not back up files, as it was not supposed to break or delete anything.I have 6 of the listed files, so if you send me your email address, I will send them to you as a zip file.Mike
Mike,I think I got v6.1.33, since I have a download date of 11/8/04. Problem is that I don't remember which link I downloaded it through.Anyway, it's not fatal, or anything. I can be reached at nfitzsimmons@earthlink.netThanks,Nick
Hi,I am just starting to play with RR. Which version is the most stable at this point? I have to admit that it scares me a bit since I have never used it, and I see posts that talk about things that I don't even begin to understand. However, everyone seems to rave about it, so I want to see what it is all about.Bryce
Hi Bryce,You can download the full version 6.1.33 (if my old memory is correct) from this site, then go to my site (on the startup screen of RR), and download the v6.1.49 .exe file which has most things fixed.(V6.1.49 should be uploaded tonight, but my ISP has problems at this time).Mike
