Reading Topic #25507
I have downloaded some files which do not seem to work. I have deleted the folder from the trainset folder but every time i load MSTS i get error messages saying the folders cannot be found. Is there anyway to get rid of the error messages with software or any other means?.

your problem is probably "cannot find trainset/yourtrain/yourtrain.wag" (or .eng)
if this is the case, you haven't deleted the consists which include this train, you'll find them in trains/consists.

I might add that the consista might have pretty obscure names and be rather difficult to find. Jack Fearon's old but serviceable Route Control Lite will find them and quarantine them easily and without any thinking required.
