RE: AP WELL SET 2

Do you have set no. 1? Some required files for set 2 are only in the first set. If you do not have set 2 download and install it and then give it a try.Good luck.

RE: AP WELL SET 2

Hate to say it, but are you sure they are not there? If you see the folder in your TRAINSET folder, than you should be good to go.However, sometimes, if you click on a folder, you will be directed through a series of more folders to get to the one the has the files. Most of Ted's uploads are done this way, so what I do, is unzip them to a temp. location, like My Documents. Then I look for the actual folder that contains the files, and I then move that folder back to My Documents, overwriting files if asked. In a nutshell, you should be able to click on a folder and see the files, if not, you need to find that folder that has the files and move it. Sometimes the sim will not be able to find the files if they are hidden away in a maze of folders.Chris Bogley

RE: AP WELL SET 2

Maybe i should be a little more clear as how i installed them into my train-sim. I did unzip them to a temp folder, pulled out the ap well file then move it to my train set folder.I did try it with ap well one and with the same problem, so i got ap well 2 did the whole install over and still have the same outcome. So im stumped thanks for the help

RE: AP WELL SET 2

But when you click on the AP Well folder, what do you see? Do you see the files, or do you see a folder like "Program Files"? If you click on AP_Well folder, and see another folder, you need to keep clicking on folders till you come across another AP_Well folder that contains the files, then move that folder into your TRAINSET folde,r orverwiritng if asked. As I mentioned above, It is a common task at least for me, when downloading Ted's stuff. You need to make sure the folder in your TRAINSET folder directly contains the needed files or the sim might not pick them up. Chris Bogley

RE: AP WELL SET 2

Make sure that you are putting all the sets in the same folder. The zip files are designed to be open in the C: prompt (or D:, E: depending where MSTS is installed). But this is only is MSTS is in it's default directory.Ted Curphey

HiForget Editor & tools and install CONBUILDER.
You will be surprised with itEasy to install, easy to use.Just click the loco you want, the cars and save. Also it allows you to change the loco or to add a new one by simply marking where you want it.Try it when you finish with the well set

RE: AP WELL SET 2

Start over Joe, download all 4 sets, and unzip them into a temp. location all at once. All 4 sets will unzip into the same folder, AP_Well. Move that folder over into your TRAINSET folder.Chris Bogley
