I want to adjust the durability setting for one of the installed jobs, but I cannot find the setting in editor. In Help, I am directed to the Consist Editor and Service Editor, but I cannot find that in Activity Editor.
Open the CONSISTS folder ( \MicrosoftGames\Train Simulator\Trains\Consists). Each consist will contain the line Durability. Make your changes here for each consist. Max value is 1.0JohnCYNDI RICHARDS 1938 * 2004 You will always be here with us.

I found the Consist folder, but they aren't opening. Am I supposed to open with My Computer? I'm at least an intermediate computer user, so I find this quite a puzzle.
Use WordPad ( NotePad for XP ) to open the .con files. This is the unicode editor to open all .eng, .wag, .sd, act, etc.JohnCYNDI RICHARDS 1938 * 2004 You will always be here with us.

In >Help, I am directed to the Consist Editor and Service >Editor, but I cannot find that in Activity Editor. I found it! On the right is the Player box. Click Edit. That brings up the Service Editor. In that window is Consist. Click Edit. The Durability slider is center left in that window. However, this is set to max durability. I keep getting notes that I exceeded forces X number of times. I'm doing the Columbia Falls Grain Car scenario. Any secrets to starting gradually so as not to jostle the grain cars?
