Hi,I do not personally have this engine, but if it is asking for a cab.sms file, it is a sound file that should be in the sound folder for that engine. Read the readme or docs that came with it carefully as it may require copying the sound folder from a default engine or something. An .sms file has nothing to do with the cabview, but rather is the file that tells the sim what sounds to play when you are "in the cab."Bryce
I went into the file library and took a look at the readme for this locomotive. It states:"The sounds and cabview are aliased to those done by 3DTS."3DTS refers to "3D Train Stuff", a company that sells addons for MSTS, so this download has a payware requirement in order to work "out of the box". This should probably have been stated in the description that accompanies the file listing. At any rate, since it appears that you do not have the 3DTS files, you'll have to change the sound and cabview lines in the eng file in order to get things working. This process has been explained many times before...anyone have a decent link handy?Rob.
I downloaded csxsd70.zip from the train-sim library and copied the cab and sound folder into my UP4770 folder. The UP SD70 works great and the CSX unit makes a fine addition too.
