Had a problem with my locos "binding" on this curve on the LV route. I looked closely, and the trucks on the cars appear to be derailed! On this curve the trucks either remain straight, or are turned the opposite way.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance!

RE: Anyone know how to fix this??

This depends on the car. Turn that car and it will move right.
You can build test consists with cars arranged as twins facing to each other and check which cars are running right and which not.

Frank,This looks like the MSTS bug that Otto discovered. When a locomotive or car is reversed, from it's "normal" direction, and the train goes around a curve, the wheels turn in the wrong direction. Use ConBuilder to turn the car around and it should stop happening.Bill

>This looks like the MSTS bug that Otto discovered.I think it was discovered before he discovered it! I remember reading one of Chris Longhurst Readmes for his early trains and he already indicated this bug was present... But I don't know whether he was the first or not... Ah, never mind...

Or probably, maybe you should waste your time reading it.
Eh, where did my signature go?
Oh, here it is, the one you are reading right now? Can't you see it? I know I know, it's probably too bright to see it.
Hey, look at my avatar, nice right? I drew it with my own hands holding the mouse in Paint, with the pencil tool(and the Filling tool!)!
It's a picture of me in Planet Stooopid, where everything is the same as what you call "Earth" except that we are called "aliens" in your planet.
Anyway, I warned you not waste time reading my signature! You have just wasted probably about 30 seconds reading it, where you could have spent the time doing better things, like maybe reading the next post below if there is one...

RE: Anyone know how to fix this??

What you see there is a purely visual 'bug' and has nothing to do with the actual problem. It is caused by having the car running 'reversed'.The binding is a different matter and can have several causes. Car or engine too long for the curve, incorrect length, bounding box, or inertia tensor settings in the eng or wag file. Even having couplings set too short, or too stiff can have a similar effect.Beer is not a matter of life and death. It is much more serious than that.

RE: Anyone know how to fix this??

Thanks everybody for your responses! I think it is the reversing of the car (or consist) during the setup of the activity. I will check it out.
Thanks....
