Due to a typing error, I built in a bug to the new Sound checking feature of Route-Riter - It erroneously points SD402 sounds to SD40\Sounds (a folder which does not exist).Sorry about that, v6.0.09 is on my site now.Mike

LYNCH MIKE SIMPSON!!

Larry, you want that in Australian dollars?! Mike, I may have found another one, I currently have - you know what, I don't know what I have, this version don't have a number on it, just says "AceIt 6.0.1". Anyway, I tried the new "weed out the duplicates from the ref file" thingamy and it don't do anything. Here's Dick van den Hoven's VB script which does work;

RE: LYNCH MIKE SIMPSON!!

Hi Jim,Thanks for that, I will take it in U.S. dollars though. They are still worth something, although I can remember getting 1.20 U.S. for 1 OZ dollar, but times change...Yes, the remove dupes from .ref file works fine, I just did it. I will look at Dick's script though. One day I might finish the RR help files, but too many people having problems with v6 at the moment, might have to go back to the old compression methods rather than Okrasa's .dll - It works fine on my machine, but some people have problems (some people of course seem to have trouble finding their way out of bed in the morning ).

Hi Mike, For what it's worth. Perhaps some people are forgetting to run the Init Tokens Bat. Since I installed the .09 update, I have not found any problems so far. My Computer specs are in my profile

Hi MrMike,Thank goodness someone has got it running properly However there is something that we are missing here, as I know that some users definitely have .Net framework v1.1 correctly installed and have run the .bat file yet it still gives the error.I see your machine spec in your profile, but do you by any chance have either VB6 or MS Visual Studio .Net installed on your PC?Grasping at straws here.....

RE: LYNCH MIKE SIMPSON!!

I'm getting this error message anytime I try to check a route: "Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object.". When I click ok RR closes. I'm running ACTIT version 6.0.9. Thanks.Mike

Yes, see the other posting about RR in this forum. Okrasa has found where the problem lies and is working on it. Meanwhile I have withdrawn v6.0.09.Mike
