Does anyone have a detailed explanation of how to install this route? I have read the topic on spanned files and tried for 2 days to install this route to no avail. The topic is very vague to those of us with limited computer knowledge. I have tried WINRAR and WINZIP. I dont understand why most routes are simple to install with or without a self installer and then someone uploads a cool route but thinks everyone is a computer whiz and doesn't include any install info. Your help is greatly appreciated. I understand these are not zip files but that doesnt mean didley to me. Thank You!
Ok Scorp,Yer goin ta get an avalanche of help soon, but meanwhile try this:1. put every itty bitty file into a temp folder (there should be ten itty bitty files excludin the docs.zip).2. You will notice that there are two zips: one's an impostor and the other is the real McCoy. Right click on the impostor ( upcs.z01.zip)3. Right-click on this zip and select renameA message says something like "altering this file will make it unusable", ignore this and continue4. Eliminate the "Zip" word so the new file will read upcs.z01On doing this you will notice the Zip icon change to the same icon as .zo2,3,4 etc.5. Next, right-click on the remaining genuine zip ( upcs.zip and select Winzip 8 or WinRar and let the wizard do the rest.6. it is not crucial where the whole thing is unzipped (mine unzipped on my desktop; however, be aware that if you directly unzip to the Routes folder that MSTS will not see it, as theupcs folder is within another folder also markedupcs, so it IS THAT folder which must be placed into the MSTS Routes folder.7. Click on the Batch file.Mike
