ok.. MSTS installed by default with latest drivers on family's hp pavilion 752n computer (48mb onboard intel G) and it can load the program and the uk layout with 4-6-0 train just fine..but as soon as I open the throttle and start inch forward a bit *bam* computer always reboot like it locked up or something. I have tried it with fragil (no coaches) too and same result.I'm wondering if its just this particular onboard video or does msts really hate onboard video all the way? thanks.dragonhorse...p.s=in device manager it seem that strangely the video shows up as intel/nvidia one although its supposed to be named 'intel G' on www.hp.com anyhow. oh and don't ask me to try any crazy things as again its family's computer, thank you (my computer is only slot1 300Amhz..still trying figure a replacement so...never mind that)
I am running a HP Pavillion a305w with 3ghz processor, 247mb of mrmory, and onboard video 800x600 in 32 bit color Intel 82. train Simulator has no problem running with the onboard video and frame rates are in the 20 to 40 frames per second. If you don't have Route Riter and Conbuilder download them from the file library and check the route and consists for errors.Nascarphan
Be sure that you have the latest video driver. I had some interesting effects (psychedelia) with an on-board intel driver on a sony vaio laptop which were corrected with the newest release of the driver. Also, try DXDIAG - in addition to basic diagnostics, you will at least know your driver release and version of DirectX. You can run DXDIAG from the dos box or the run command from start.See also http://www.linktionary.com/pavilion/
