Jun-04-01, 01:44 PM (EST) "Sound problems..." Hey everyone,Just finished running the HHP Metroliner on the Hisatsu line. No, I didn't finish the route, I exited because exterior sounds were full of bugs.Annoyances such as "popping" after different sounds are played/ended and popping in track/engine loops are annoying, yes, but bearable.I don't know if it is just my system or not, but has anyone else noticed sound problems in Exterior view with the HHP? I get this problem when in view 2 near the loco, but not in view 3 at the end of the train. It usually occurs after 30 minutes of game play. So, I exited the program and restarted. Fired up the sim again and much to my surprise, now, I have no exterior loco sounds whatsoever. My horn will not sound, and my engine makes no sounds either. However sound is normal in cab and passenger view.I get no sounds on any locos.Any suggestions? Or do I just have to reinstall after three days of game play? Jun-04-01, 05:55 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Sound problems..." I have a similar problem. I have run the game under both WinXP and Win2000. The problem doesn't seem to happen as much in W2k but it still does happen. When I go to external views it will sometimes just start playing corrupted sounds. Its really odd because it does various weird things, sometimes the sounds are loud, sometimes I can't hear the sounds and sometimes its just garbage. My sound card is a SB Live X-Gamer 5.1 using LiveWare 3.0. The drivers in LiveWare 3.0 were certified by Microsoft but I still suspect these to be the problem.
