Hello!I'm using a great CSX SD70 by 3DTS repainted by a talented guy and it is a joy ... great repaint and great cab.The only problem I'm having is the horn sound ... it is very low ... instead I like a powerful sound. Is there a way to raise the volume of the .wav file?I have copied others horns sounds from another loco (changing their names reflecting the ones in the SD70 .sms files of course) and it didn't worked (the level was still very low) so I think I have to adjust some parameters in the SD70 .sms files in order to raise the sound level ... but I don'y have knowledge about these files. Thanks in advanceRoberto
RE: Horn sound very low ... do you have a solution?
Inside that SMS file, inside the stream set up for the horn sound, there should be a line that says something like "volume( .5)" you can turn the volume up using the number beside the decimal, with (1.0) being the loudest possible.--The FBL Commuter Edition!!!!!!---You can never have too much inner beauty. RE: Horn sound very low ... do you have a solution?
The volume for the horn in real life with these new comfort cabs is much lower in the decibel range. So having a quiter horn sound in the cab as to outside the cab will be a hugh differenceJust Rollin Down The Tracks Dale
