After installation of Marias 3.1 MSTS crashes during startup. I tried to locate the problem using following steps:
Copy all Trains, Consists and routes to an archive directory. Result: MSTS starts (very fast!)
Copy back all trains. Result: MSTS starts normally (still very fast!).
Then I copied back all 840 consists. the problem reappeared. With a lot of effort I tracked down the problem to 4 consist files. For these files Consistbuilder does not give any error messages. I tried to save the consist files using Consistbuilder. This did not help.
If I open the files in a text editor, they appear completely normal. So now my question: what can be wrong and do uyou know any method of repairing those consist files?I includes one of them, using a modified file extension. Thanks in advance for your advice.

RE: Corrput consist files cause MSTS crash

Part of the problem in one of the consists is the '
TrainCfg ( "3dash9'sx50grain" put quotes around it and you should be able to load it.The other one has no name line at all and that may be causing a problem with that one.
