How to: Cascades Crossing track sounds in other routes – image 1

LAST EDITED ON Aug-10-04 AT 11:09 PM (EST)

I actually stumbled upon this by accident. Well, this actually started last night, when I downloaded the two fictional DT&I Dash 9's from the file library. I'm not a big fan of the default D9 cabview, so I aliased the sounds and cabview from the MLT SP Dash 9, which has a nice cabview.

After several minutes of driving, I noticed that I was getting the track sounds that were in CC. It was actually a simple conversion that really improves running any route.I changed the cabview and sounds on the DT&I D9 to the MLT cabview from:
Sound ( "..\\..\\Dash9\\sound\\D9Eng.sms" )
to:
Sound ( "..\\..\\MLT_REQUIRED\\MLT_SOUNDS\\SP\\FDLeng.sms" )I also changed the cabview and other sounds accordingly.CabView ( dash9.cvf )
to:
CabView ( SPdash9.cvf )Sound ( "..\\..\\Dash9\\sound\\d9cab.sms" )
to:
Sound ( "..\\..\\MLT_REQUIRED\\MLT_SOUNDS\\SP\\FDLcab.sms" )Edit: I can't spell.
