I've been trying ways to make the trains I use use little or no diesel (for diesel trains) and Coal and Water for Steam trains.I thought setting this for Diesel engines will make them use no fuel so you'll never have to worry about refueling (unlike RL but heck, this is a SIMULATOR here!);
DieselUsedPerHourAtMaxPower (0)
DieselUsedPerHourAtIdle (0)And this for Steam engines;
BasicSteamUsage ( 0b/h )
BasicCoalUsage ( 0b/h )
CoalBurnage ( 0.0 lb/hp/h )<-Forgot to add this tooWhat else would I have to do? Or is it impossiable to have "unlimited" fuel?-BeaverMon, AKA Ben-

RE: Question about 'Unlimited Fuel/Coal/Water'

bump # 3a simulator, should simulate some situations as running out of water or fuel.... doing it unlimited it is not a simulator...what if we call it " Impossible Train " or
what if you change some codes and make it atomic, with an atomic cell like the big ships have?you colud run it like an aircraft carrier for months and months without the need of stopping for refueling or adding water....better.....drag the MSTS folder to recycle bin......no more refueling problems.....all is set.....bye

>better.....drag the MSTS folder to recycle bin......no more
>refueling problems.....all is set.....Yeah...I see. Like I'm that much of a lamer to fall for that.
Listen...all I wanted is to know IF I could do it! I do not care for your rude remarks(I feel like I'm being laughed off the forum due to my questions...and this needs to stop).It's MY game...and if I want my trains to use no fuel to not worry about refueling (kinda like a "cheat"), then I have that right.Now, can I do it, or not?-BeaverMon, AKA Ben-

It takes hundreds of miles to run out of fuel on all the modern units anyway, why would you want to "simulate" unlimited fuel? In flightsim, I can understand that, but no one sits behind the cab of a D9 for 1000 miles in this game!!Austin

RE: Question about 'Unlimited Fuel/Coal/Water'

I see. I guess the best thing to do is increase the diesal capacity to have more diesal so you won't run out.Ok, this was a stupid topic and I should of never created it just I thought someone in here wants to "cheat" like me. But I'll end it here.-BeaverMon, AKA Ben-
