After changing all my routes to the new MLT sigview, the whitefish
routes, when you come to a signal, the signal looks like its incased in a mirror, just like you would look in the mirror instead of you it would be the signal. Just the whitefish routes do it. Anyone know
how to fix this? I changed all the radius to 1.04 Anyone else run into this problem?

RE: Signal Help Please

If you're talking about this;Signal Help Please – image 1That's a problem with forest regions, the mipmapping of the new siglight.ace which gives it the long range visibility does not work and play well with forest regions. No known cure for it other than;1. Deleting any forest region in line of sight behind the each signal head, and replacing with treeclumps or individual trees, and/or;2. Place something large enough behind the signal head to completely block out the area behind the siglight.ace.There are two default treeclump objects in the USA1 route, treeclump1.s and treeclump2.s, and here are some clones of those shapes:
http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/User_files/40fde6a12ee1c947.ziphttp://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/User_files/40fde6ba2f33ce89.zipThat use 3 variations of Judd Spittler's and Steve Thompson's pine tree textures.Download those two zips, copy into the route you want to use them on, open the route's ref file in wordpad and scroll to the bottom, open pineclump.ref, copy the text out of that and paste it under the last datablock in your ref file. The four PONpineclumps will be in the "Vegetation Group - Tree" class in the object menu. Depending on the route you may have to delete or move forest regions farther from the track to make room for the pine tree clumps. I left the shape files uncompressed, so you can open the .s files in wordpad and do an EDIT FIND "ace", replace the 3 ace file names with whatever suits your fancy.
