Hi all, Some time ago I posted an inquiry as to whether someone out there was going to do the SP 9000 class KM's. As I remember, someone hinted that it was being comdemplated, so was wondering if we can expect the beast soon. Thanks to all.44211 AUSTRALIA
Great Model....! But I was referring to the second series, with the BIG Trimount Bogies. Both units will make great addition to simmimg. Thanks & Cheers, 44211.
....I was referring to the second series, with the BIG Trimount Bogies. You mean the appearance after the cab was modified...like that shown in the following image (scroll to the fourth pic from the top)?http://wx4.org/to/foam/sp/locos/hydro/oktoberfest2.htmlBruce.
Hey is any one working on the Alco units two? Can someone list all of the Diesel hydraulic locomotives used in this country?
All ways remembering BigBoy 4023 and her run through Green River Wyoming on train 359 a 600 car mixed freight with a yellow Union Pacifc caboose on the rear.

The first three SP units were "carbody" type, a la E- and F- units. The second group were built as hood units with the angled cabs.
