I downloaded and unzipped the files to trainsim/routes, ran the install.bat in usa_hbs, moved the files from _temp_ to textures as in the directions, but when I tried to run the program, I kept getting messages that "could not unload texture file.... for multiple texture files and it would not run.Second, is there a way in the consist editor to substitute another engine(s) for the BNSF GP-38's as they seem rather out of place in Hoboken?Thanks in advance. No offence but i mean..wheres the consists and other missing parts ? i did as was said in the readme, went to activity editor to have a look at it and to put a few trains on it and everything went haywire, got missing consists , missing trains, missing textures, finnaly got the good o'l send\dont send then it packed up and said goodbye....It is now deleted and i am now waiting for the next update. This msg isnt intended to upset the creator i just wanna let him know of some gliches, pity really cause i was really looking forward to running it after such good reviews....oh well till next time Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Best I can figure is who ever designed the route had some locos and consists figured into the activites that didn't ship with it. Like the GP-15 + 4 gondolas.con it complains about missing. ANd the sperry.con Yes, it's frustrating...considering I never saw anything about those cons in the readme file.
i can't stress enough...to you designers out there. Please, if you make an activity that requires special locos...please tell us before we dl it so we can find those locs...or at least tell us where you got em.

"RE: The Hobokin Shore Route beta 2" never had those problems..mine shipped with the standard consist and engines...of course the HSR is not deceased on my system due to HD space but it was nice and problem free, that is until i tried to loop somewhere...
