NEC Pack #1 v1.0 by NALW

I see that NALW put out a NEC megapak with the subject name. The writeup mentions that there is a NJ Transit ALP44 loco in the pack. Also that there are 47 different passenger cars, no mention of what roads make them up. Can someone tell me if the file includes a NJT passenger car? And, if so, what model name? I'd like to now before I try to download and installed something I don't need.Thanks

Well there are no NJT Cars in the Pack only AEM-7's and the NJT ALP-44 also a number of Amfleets in all colors with opening and closing doors for the electrics you can also delete the stuff you don't like...

I just downloaded NJT Comets with a NJT ALP. I did have a problem with two consists using a "bistro car" which trainsim says is missing. I just renamed both consists until I find where that car went. The other cars are great.

I downloaded the same file. The NJT ALP44 engine is the original one from NALW. Got it installed and it's a beautiful piece of work. I see that the passenger cars are "not well" repainted, and didn't install them yet. The cabcars and passengers don't have tranparent windows. One end of each cabcar is screwed up, one still has the Metro North ends unpainted.Sounds like I'll install at least one coach car to make a set.Has NALW issued the NJT passenger cars yet, or are they still in the works?Thanks.

You guys need to remove that package as it's an unauthorized and dare I say it, poorly done re-skin and may cause problems with our package....We will not support it and Nels has removed it from the site...BTW, If any of you know who the bush league pirate is who uploaded it I'd be eternally grateful if you dropped a dime on him to us!Chuck Schneider

ChuckI looked over ALL the text files and WAG ones and found nothing with the uploaders name, nor anything that might be a clue to him. He REALLY does crappy work. Left one end of the NJT cabcar still showing the MN sign. And no transparent windows. This guy acts like a beginner. Thats why I didn't install his cabs or coaches.Ted

Hi Chuck! According to GP18 he says It was just downloaded. (Message dated today 4/15) As Nel's removed this file earlier in the week, it may be this has been uploaded to other sites than just train-sim.com. You may want to investigate a little further.GP18 can you confirm you got it here?Tom Cain

Thanks Tom I'm looking and so far nothing....Right now I have some one who is demanding that I allow him to upload his re-skins of our stuff to The-Train.De and I have now told him no several different ways....
Currently he is amusing himself by sending JPGs of his repaint and asking for permission to upload to The-Train.de of any other NALW member he can get an e-mail address for....Chuck Schneider

This is the site I got the comets from, ts2.train-sim.com , which for some reason is not available at this time. Shows you how much I pay attention. I was so happy to find NJT stuff, I didn't really look at the cars. I used them in the Washington Commuter run and they constantly derail going into Union station at the wye switch. I cannot remember how I got to that site, but will post it when I find out. Something or someone had to point me to it.Files I downloaded that day last week.Comet4
