I’m just getting started with the Newark and Jersey City route (version 1.5) and so far, it’s great. But, I’ve run into a small problem; there are no diesel engine sounds from the GP18 that I downloaded and installed as instructed in the readme for the route. The GP18 is from file lv305v2.zip and was downloaded from trainsim.com. I’ve installed it twice to eliminate an install problem, but still no sounds from the diesel engine. I can hear the horn, the releasing of the brakes and the compressor, but not the diesel engine. Is anyone aware of this problem? Is there a fix for it?I found a file of sounds for the EMD567 engine which is, I think, the engine in the GP18, but I don’t understand the install instructions. The file I’m talking about is named EMD567.zip and it's by 'soundforge', downloaded from trainsim.com.Can anyone help me get the diesel engine sounds working for Enocell's GP18?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Ted Ryder

Just put the unzipped EMD567 folder in your Trainset folder.
That should get you the sounds you are missing.
