Jean-LouisI have a question on your values from the khp2_b.zip files. Looking at the covered hopper as an example the mass is 106.7 t and the MaxBrakeForce is 36.7 KN. While I was trying to do some research on max brake froce, I found an NSTB report about an UP runaway accident. The report showed the max brake force to be around 7.1% of the cars loaded weight. Looking at this, the 106.7 ton would be 235,232 lbs. With 7.1% the Max Brake Force would be 16,819 lbs. Converting to Newtons it would be 75,085 or 75.085KN. Was the 36.7 value you used determined from a formula or is it adjusted to account for a strange way KUJU did their programming?

Thanks for the link. I didn't think it was a simple as I first thought!
