Post any problems with the Full Bucket Commuter Edition – image 1

Hey, all. I just got an email saying that the user didn't have any consists, and asked what he should do. Was it just him, or has everybody had this problem? And if so, please post any and all problems with my upgrades...I might have to do a third upload of the route.

RE: Post any problems with the Full Bucket Commuter Edi

I downloaded this route and ran it through route_riter and it showed an error saying that FBline3.ace is missing and may cause MTS to crash. The route worked fine in explore mode but when I attempt to run and of the activities they load to a point and then MTS crashes. I've download the route twice and installed it several times with the same results. Can you help?

And so it goes. Blackjack.

Hello. Did you install the newest version? Also, all I did was copy the activities, services, and paths from the Ful Bucket Line 3 folder, so I can't really help you there. --The FBL Commuter Edition!!!!!!---Yeah, that's right! RE: Post any problems with the Full Bucket Commuter Edi

The activities not loading would be due to the consists being extracted to a different location as somebody else mentioned.Koz

The same problem I had, but I fixed it as follows:
I copied the FBline3.ace from the Full Bucket Line version 3 and pasted it in the Full Bucket Commuter Edition's main folder, then it loaded perfectly.
So I saw the modern tropical platform with several palmtrees...If you have the former version so you can transfer it from there to the newer line.Any other doubt, E-mail me...Luck!

Eduardo.

I have changed all of the activities "Route ID's" to FBLineComm and have changed the FBLinecomm.ace file to fbline3. With all of that, when I go to load an activity it loads to the point of showing the cab view then the sim crashes. Can you help?

And so it goes. Blackjack.

Hiya. Sorry about the delayed response. I'd suggest redownloading, and make sure you download the NEWEST version of it. Also, if you still have problems, delete all activities and services from your FBLineComm folder.--The FBL Commuter Edition!!!!!!---You can never have too much inner beauty. Or socks.

RE: Post any problems with the Full Bucket Commuter Edi

Well, I spoke to soon. The route will not show up in MSTS now. It seems TrainStore leaves this file; "FBLinecomm.trk" behind and turns the route's name from FBLcomm back to v3 (in TrainStore)and it will not show up when you load TrainSim. Up till now there hasn't been a problem.Mike

RE: Post any problems with the Full Bucket Commuter Edi

Hi Mike,I assure you Train Store does not change the contents of any MSTS files. It sounds like the update to the route has caused a reordering of the .trk and .trkbak files in the directory file. See http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID3/22477.html#5 Under these conditions MSTS will run with the .trkbak file. If you remove the .trkbak file and then unstore the Route this should cure the problem. The KOSMOS backup file is presumably redundant, as it contains backup information for a previous version of your Route. The other possibility is that you may have a problem caused by installing the update whilst the route was stored. When unstoring, Train Store would have detected duplicate files and given you the choice of which version to keep. If you chose the wrong version then you would have the older .TRK file. If this is the case, you will need to get the updated version of the .trk file out of the ZIP file.

Tony. Thanks for the answers, they make sence to me. I didn't mean that TrainStore changed a file, it just left that one behid, and now I know why.Mike
