Looks beautiful! I have a (dumb?) question. Is 3.5 the entire FBL route with a communter add-on, or is it just the commuter route? Those of us with bursting hard drives would like the latter.John DeLamater

RE: Coming soon: Full Bucket Line version 3.5 commuter

I have both Cajon and Telahachipi, however, this is good enough to compete with both of those. It's great for those that don't have the payware routes, but it's also great for those who do. I'm downloading it. It's a great enhancement to an already good route, the FBL.

Thanks a lot guys! It really is good to know that what I have done is appreciated so much. And I couldn't have done it without the help of any of the content creators, beta testers, or Tim. Just addressing what may be common concerns:First, it is a complete replacement, I really didn't want it that way, but that's the way it has to be. So basically, this will replace the entire FBL3 folder. I'm pretty much re-uploading the entire route. It does not actually include any trains, but it is meant for use by the Surfliner, or any 5 or so car long train set. I did include a default activity that takes you on a tour of the line (from Fort Fairfax to Frampton including the Simonville branch, but not from Lake Hurst to Mt. Oliver) using the default GP38-2. I also kept any existing activities, and included a couple of paths that I have made for use in my personal activities- you can find these by selecting a path in the activity editor, and the logic is fairly easy to understand- if you want to go from Fort Fairfax to Frampton, the path would be called "FFFramp" or if you wanted to go from Mt Oliver to Fort Fairfax, it would be called something like "MtOFF". Hopefully that's easy enough. All pre-existing activities should work fine, but you may have to make a backup of them. Come to think of it, you might as well delete the entire FBL folder before you install, just so that things don't get too mixed up. Alright, and second: Frame rates. I recently completely reinstalled train sim, so this might only be on my system, but the lowest framerate I've gotten on one of my "new" stations is 13- so that still means that even at the station, the game still runs very smooth. I credit the maker(s) of the palm trees and lights, they must have really known what they were doing. Now if only they would step foward so that they may receve credit for their models... My machine that I use is an HP Pavilion 7935 with 1.3GHz, 128MB RAM, 40GB hard drive, and an Nvidia or whatever graphics card. Though at the moment, this is the only non-default route that I have, (though I made sure to save my copies of the SVR, Cambrian Route, Protrain Austrian Experience, Heidi Express, ect). So I think that the absence of other routes in the \ROUTES folder plays a part in my frame rates. I'm just gonna guess that if your computer has no memory, a lacking graphics card, and every route made for train sim copied in your \ROUTES folder, then your results may not be quite as good as mine. But for the most part, this should still work fine. Thanks for all the kind words, guys!

RE: Coming soon: Full Bucket Line version 3.5 commuter

Looking forward to trying this out when I get home from my weekend trip. I was debating doing a passenger timetable for the route, but didn't feel it was worth the time, but with the recent upgrades, I might have to re-think that. I am glad you got the permission's from all invloved becasue I have only thought that the stations on the route needed to be upgraded and brought into the here and now.Chris Bogley

Hey, all. Okay. Turns out, this is actually going to be completely self-suffecient, so that you can still keep your "fbline3" folder and you'll end up with my version as a completely seperate route. Sorry to anyone with a lower-end machine, but this is the only way that things could happen. So once again, this route is NOT a replacement- it's a completely seperate route, and shall appear as "Full Bucket Line Commuter Edition". And that reminds me:UPLOADED.--Coming Soon...
