What was supposed to perhaps have been, if only, the NALW christmas engine well its finally comming close to completion. We at NALW decided it was time to post a shot of something new to show that we are indeed alive and kicking for 2004.and from me something different for a change not a big non articulated steam engine but a Cab unit.Based on the designs of Raymond Loewy built in 1948-53 by Baldwin Lima Hamilton the RF15 RF16 A and B unit frieght Locomotives.I've attached a few shots of one 4 unit consist caught on the Leigh Valley. Finally Something New… But something old – image 1Finally Something New… But something old – image 2Finally Something New… But something old – image 3just a few minor tweaks and it will be all ready to go, we are trying to find some cab shots of these units, so if anyone out there has resources they could share that would be great.I don't plan this to be a mega pack but rather an engine pack with PRR paint and DL&H paint plus Bob B's well tuned engine files, maybe a few custom sounds and a cab, ... in the future. That should enable us to get this out of the shop doors sooner.Watch for more exciting stuff comming from Nalw soon for 2004.John Fowlis

Thank you! There's always room in my fleet for more Pennsylvania locomotives, and your work looks like it'll just have to be a mainstay of the operations. Now I'll have something to use those most excellent LHW Budd cars with outside the NEC, and that's a good thing. Hooray! I eagerly await news of its release.

Hi John!
It's good to see you back around again! We haven't heard from you for a while. Nice looking engine there. Did New York Central run these? They would look good in lightning stripe. Looking forward to what you have for 2004.GrizzlyFinally Something New… But something old – image 6 Finally Something New… But something old – image 7P.S. Is the Royal Hudson still in the works? Please say yes!

John great looking loco's. Good to hear from you folks again. Bradley the B&O had 16 ab sets the C&O had a few unsure of actual count and if they were leased, demo's, or owned but they were definatley in there colors. Also the D&H had a-units two of which are stored out of sight in Mich..

John
Excelent lookin Sharks.
An F cab and sounds will suffice til NALW can crank out a proper cab and sound file.
As to a megapack,no worries what NALW doesn't supply I'm sure the talented reskin community out there(now lets see, where did I put those color pics of those EJ&E Sharks at?)will supply the missing liveries.Gary S
