hy guys need your help agian.computer crashed had it rebuilt reloaded train sim.but now it realy dosent work throtlle and brakes work together graphics suck new graphics card mother board and a few more things have been replaced. was rebuilt by a good company.he stands behind his work. guess what im realy asking could the game have been corupet.or became ruined when the computer went down.they said it was not a virus that caused the problems. only downloads i used were msn downloads to upgrade the sim . like the game but cant keep putting money out to play it . did get a warning that morning of a trojan horse in the computer any help in the area thank you. would screw up after i get the frame rate and couplers worked out
Throttle and brakes working together usually means you have simple controls turned on, and the graphics problem has probably been caused by the mprofile that runs when you first fire up MSTS. It chooses a set of graphic options based on what it considers to be the best for your graphics card. These can all be altered from within the Options screen when you run the sim.A trojan is a bit more serious, and you do need to find out what it is and get it removed if it exists. What gave you the trojan warning? Beer is not a matter of life and death. It is much more serious than that. mervyn.
thanks the trojan is gone when I had the pc rebuilt. guess im afraid of messing my computer up again at 4 hundred a wack its hard to come by to have them worked on thanks im runing s3graphics now hope that is better
If you're running S3 graphics, they're probably integrated onto the mobo and that would explain the decrease in graphics quaility. You need to get yourself a video card.
