Hi All, Just posting this as it may be of interest to some. I have been having a look at an activity a friend has created over the last week or so, it was suffering from an ever decreasing fps rate. The activity was dissected in every way possible and eventually the fps killer was found. It was a sms sound file belonging to a wagon that was in use as a loose consist, the sound file was not a default one, it had been created for this wagon in particular. Not being a rocket scientist when it comes to sms sound files I am unsure as to what is wrong with it, needless to say when it was removed from the wag file the fps rate behaved as you would expect. So if there is anyone else out there with a slowly decreasing fps rate and your pulling your hair out trying to find the cause, have a look at the locos/rolling stock used and see if any use non-default sounds, they may or may not be the cause of your problem, but it was for this activity.Regards to All Stew aka 6330trainfan Albany WA Australia
Hi Richard, Hello Richard, at the moment I would prefer not to mention the name of the wagon in question until a response to an email is received from the creator. What I will tell you is it is an Australian stock car that was found to be causing some trouble within the activity.Regards Stew aka 6330trainfan Albany WA Australia
