How do you make a headon crash because when I put trains heading towards each other they stop before hitting?

RE: Creating Headon's

And we like to crash our trains why? Just joking, I do the same thing. Probably the same reason I like making runaways on the Georgetown Loop. I have the route and routinely take an SD40 out with a couple cars, let them go, and try to recouple and save them.Do the same with a faster locomotive, and as soon as you uncouple, run as fast as you can away. Before reaching the end, stop, reverse, and run back up the mountain- if you started the cars fast enough, they'll still be moving.Use THAT route, as the steep grades will help keep the cars moving.A fake "locomotive" freight car at the head of the runaways will help make it look realistic.

RE: Creating Headon's

I had a rather nice crash today using the 3DTS Amtrak passenger setup.
I uncoupled the locos at full speed, went forward about 3 loco lengths, then hit ALL the brakes to full stop. The passenger cars caught up and the first one to hit the loco went UP OVER the loco and came crashing down on top of it. VERY spectacular, and I didn't even charge the passengers for the free amusement ride Dep

We want an overhead view/GPS Screen in MSTS2!!!!
