RE: kentonsnowball Question

While someone may have the answer, I can tell you that it is not a bad idea to reinstall MSTS. All you need to do is copy your stuff that you want to keep to a seperate folder, or CD, delete MSTS and all of its componets, and start over. I do it about twice a year, and now it takes about 2-3 hours to be completly done with it.Chris Bogley

RE: kentonsnowball Question

You can create an icon on your desktop, using the shortcut that starts the simulator itself, with a small addition. Right-click on the MSTS entry in your Startup menu, select "create shortcut." Drag and drop the shortcut to your desktop, right-click on it, select Properties. In the TARGET window, change the entry to read as follows (assuming you have installed it in the default location):"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\launcher.exe" -runeditorSimply use the shortcut to your launcher, but add the -runeditor at the end. It was placed on the second line here due to text word-wrap, but in your shortcut it should appear all on the same line.Close the windows, test it out. Rename it to Editors. If you want to get it back into the STARTUP menu, left-click on the desktop icon you just created, HOLD DOWN the left mouse button while moving (drag and drop) the cursor over the START button. As each menu appears, continue to hold down the left button, moving the cursor to the submenus until you reach the MSTS menu. Place the cursor where you want your application to be, release the left mouse button.Piece of cake! MC
