Aug-17-01, 11:04 AM (EST) "Drivable? Pendennis and Royal Scot" I downloaded a set of .eng files that were designed to make the Pendennis and Royal Scot steam engines drivable. It would appear that I can only use these in the "Explore Route" activities. Whenever I attempt to use them as the player service in other activities my system locks up. Is there a fix available for this problem? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.Regards;Randy

Aug-17-01, 01:38 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Drivable? Pendennis and Royal Scot" G'day mate...
If you do a search on this and the activity forum,( and in fact every forum I could find) you will see I posed the same question about 2 weeks ago, and finally resorted to contacting knowledgible members direct. The upshot appears that TS will NOT allow ex AI locos to be used as player service in activities (Captain Bazza..thanks), which is disapointing. They will work fine in Explore mode, but that is about it! Disapointing, but that is about it..
Cheers

Aug-18-01, 05:14 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Drivable? Pendennis and Royal Scot" I know that a problem similar to this had existed with the SD40 diesel engine. A couple of different SD40 fixes had been posted on this board.I was hoping that someone had figured out what had to be done for the Pendennis and Royal Scot. (and for that matter the Golsdorf 310)Anyways, I'll keep my eye peeled for any new developments.

Thanks to Robert K. Guy for version 2 of his modified .eng files.Randy Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
