Aug-16-01, 02:01 PM (EST) "MSTS Sound" Good Day Gentlemen,
After a reinstall I have lost the Sander sound on ALL locomotives! Also experiencing a unusual acceleration of the exhaust sound at approximately 25 MPH. Between ) and 25 MPH the exhaust sound is that of any steam locomotive working hard to get a heavy train started. Any thoughts, ideas and/or suggestion will be appreciated! Best Regards, Don Shepley-Chicago Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-16-01, 07:47 PM (EST) 2. "RE: MSTS Sound" Hey, Shepley, long time! I'm going out to the Illinois Railway museum Saturday with my kidlet for "A day out with Thomas", and it occured to me you might be one of the volunteer engineers out there. Are you? If so, maybe we'll meet in a couple of days.I had the same problem with reinstalls only with muddy sound instead of missing, and found I had to run all the physics update and sound fixes on everything again, cuz the install copied over it with the original flawed version.
hope this helps.

Aug-16-01, 09:02 PM (EST) 3. "RE: MSTS Sound" Hi Sniper...I'm to old and beat up to climb up to the cab of a
locomotive!I too am a C&NW fan. I grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa
in a IC family! My next door neighbor was a senior CNW passenger engineer. He ran my favorite locomotive the E4 streemlined Hudson! Hope you and the kidlet have a good time! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
