I appreciate that. I wasn't doing one, NWFreak was. Even if I was going to do it I'm banned from repainting NALW stuff. Tim Frost

RE: F40ph surfliner

You "Bought" it, Alex, but are still waiting for it like the rest of us ? I think there is an offer to get the 3D-SURFLINER Rolling Stock in advance, having ordered the Route, but I decided to get the lot on one CD, having difficulties downloading large packages with my time-limited slow ISP connection. The unit you are looking for not part of what 3D-Trains supply ? Would be interesting to see Screenshots of it compared with the 3D ones. Perhaps somebody could be tempted to create or re-skin one ?O t t o

D.M.,Giving somebody a copy of PAYWARE Software they should pay for is PIRACY, money changing hands or not. As is running MSTS on two computers, only one copy of MSTS having been paid for. Copyright Laws are not understood by many, thinking that they can download Music Records from anywhere without paying for it, for instance ! If a friend however lets you have a copy of whatever it is you want, there is little anybody can do about it. Just don't ask anybody to break the Copyright Laws in public, now a Criminal Offence here in the U.K., making you an accessory before the fact ! O t t o

Hi,
Yeah, I was working on one. Actually, I have two, both with different numbers. I planned on releasing them, but I'm definitely positive that there's a better one on the way...
Here's the link if you want to see them... they're about halfway down...

The route will be worth it. I personally have trouble finding the point of running stock that doesn't belong on a particular route on it.You sure, judging from those screenshots, you don't want the route? Tim Frost

It's OK Tim. With him here on the forum begging for the rollingstock to be 'given' to him, I think we'd rather prefer he didn't have the route (or rollingstock) anyway. Begging may be a strong word, but that's the impression I got from it. Regards,

Im sorry if it sounded like it but, I wasn't begging deejay1020, I was saying I'd love to have the engine and rolling stock and maybe the route but I think $35 is way too much. Besides if I were to get it, I would wit till the next version, I looked at the map, a lot coming!

I know this is four days old but ... you're not getting just one trainset for $35 ... you're getting three sets of Surfliner equipment now (once you purchase and submit the necessary info for the Surfliner Download Forum access), plus something like seven or eight more sets once the route comes out. Not to mention the other rolling stock included in the route. That and the route and the components others have mentioned here. Research it a little further ... you may change your mind.

RE: F40ph surfliner

THe route is worth $30 you really need to sign up for the facing point news lettere there is going to be a conductor on your train!! How many trains or routes come with talking conductors I would pay $40 for this route

To me the new SURFLINER SCALERAIL TRACK SYSTEM alone is worth a damn sight more than that and hope that one day it can be applied to other Routes as well ! O t t o

The actual price of the route is $34.95.Worth every penny.Once you pre-orderit you can download three Surfliner trainsets...andbelieve me, the SOUND alone that comes with them is worth the price.

You have to register your 3d trains screen name with Dan or one of the facing point guys first.
