Aug-16-01, 00:38 AM (EST) "Can't install F7A on SECOND computer" I'm wondering how many "problems " being reported in this forum are hardware related.I easily downloaded and installed the 3dTrains F7A engine into my P3-1000 computer and it works perfect. However , I cannot install it into my friends' P3-500 machine. The installation EXE installs all the files and folders correctly, I transfer the GP39 cab and sound files as per the instructions, but after opening MSTS, no F7A is available.I can easily install new Activities using the "drag and drop" method --but others report all kinds of difficlulties.Something strange is going onBarry Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I had the same problem...then I figured out that with this latest update to the F7 , 3D trains didn't include a consist like the previous version installation did . The previous version installed a consist named (2 x F7A.con) .
Ofcourse you need one for the train to show up in the list ....so you either now have to make a new consist...or grab the one you have on the other PC & pop it in the consist folder!Cheers ! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
