Aug-15-01, 04:54 PM (EST) "Wordpad Issue: What's happening????" LAST EDITED ON Aug-15-01 AT 05:03 PM (EST)I'm trying to enter the .eng and .wag files using wordpad to adjust coupler strength but get a page with completely non-sensical information. Lots of squares, @'s,$$, etc. but nothing that makes any sense. It looks something like hyroglyphics covering the whole page. Has anybody else seen this and if so what should I do. Every other post I've seen seems to have regular text in these files. Thanks in advance for your help.(edit)Nevermind...I found my problem. Thanks Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Both use the same icon and sit in the same Windows directory. Happened to me, and took a while of scratching my head to figure what I did wrong.Cheers!

Aug-16-01, 03:18 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Wordpad Issue: What's happening????" In "Wordpad", you should see plain English text. Make changes and hit the black square icon that is the Save button. You do not want to do a save as with a different name or anything like that. What you are doing is saving the Same file with the same name but it now has your changes in it.Hope that helps.bob Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
