Route: Dzialdowo-Brodnica tsection.dat file

Hi,
Just tried installing the Polska Pomorze route. I made the missing Activities and Services folders and then I noticed the tsection.dat file for the route was also missing. Would the author of this new route please supply the tsection.dat file?

Thanks Derek, but this route uses XTracks, so I have no idea which track sections it uses or how many. I've compared two files from two other routes that use XTracks and they each use a different number of track sections and have a different number of track path definitions. Does this file you mention have all the track sections provided in the newest XTracks global\tsection.dat?

Bob,Looking through my backups, Tsection.dat is up to version 21 and yes it has all the xtracks sections.Derek

Derek,
I'm still confused. I have build 20 of tsection.dat in my global folder, but I need the tsection.dat that goes in the route's folder.
These tsection.dat files are very different than the global\tsection.dat.

Hi all,
I tried installing this route yesterday & found it riddled with errors. First it would not show in the sim. But it did show in Activity Analysis. I ran it through RouteRiter & came up with a whole slew of errors. Some of the files RR said were missing were rdb.rit,tdb,tit,tsection.dat.
The only one of those files that was really missing was the tsection.dat. The other files were there but contained Polish characters. Also they were not formatted the same as in the TRK. file.
Other missing files RR could handle such as shape & texture files. This route should go back to the author to make the proper corrections, so that it can run on the English version of MSTS. My Computer specs are in my profile

I noticed a problem where this route seems to be reaching for A1t0_2mStrt.s and A1t0_2mStrt.sd. I looked in my Global tsection.dat (xtracks 3.8.1) and this seems to be part of some kind of "Railtracks Collection". I tried searching the net using both "Railtracks Collection" name and the author's name, Dietmar Jülich. amd coudn't find what it is part of.
Does anybody know where I can find the above track section? Would it be possible to "roll your own" custom Xtracks section? I'd like to get this route running so I have place to run all my SZD/RZD stock.-- JBrownCS

Hi everyone,
I had also communicated with the author and he pointed out some additional info. You might want to examine the install.bat file to see if the revised version(like the original) is looking to copy the XTrack textures (not shapes) from the Template. These ace files are provided in xtracksr.zip which is the intended XTracks package for route designers. They were not given in the route zip and are expected to be in your template\textures folder so the install.bat file can copy them to the route textures folder. So if you have XTracks installed (the version if you are not a route designer which is the latest global\tsection.dat and the set of shapes for global\shapes) you will also need the XTrack route designer package(xtracksr.zip) installed.
As far as the tsection.dat file that belongs in the route folder (not the onre that is in the global folder), the author informed me that his route folder does not have one and sited the tutorial route as being able to function without one also. I have yet to try the revised version so I can't offer any results here. I hope this will info will help. And by the way, your version of XTracks should be 3.5 or higher.

That does make sense if his route doesn't contain any dynamic track, just default and xtracks track sections. To my understanding of how things interact, the tsection.dat in the route folder should only list dynamic track sections, while all standardized track pieces (default, xtracks, road sections, subway tracks, new roads, etc. pp. whatever add on package you installed) should be drawn from the standardized global/tsection.dat - but maybe the experts on tsections will need to correct me on this simplified answer (I'm still learning currently...)Lukas a.k.a Swissie

Debugged Dzialdowo-Brodnica Version 2.0 (extended to Jablonowo) is available as a RAR file
from www.the-train.de
Please use WinRAR to extract, other archivers might give trouble with atypic characters.
Several errors have been corrected, and it runs fine.
You will also find an engine and 2 carriages for the route.The route was compacted down to 18 MB.
A rewritten InstallMe installs 4 missing GLOBAL track shapes.
Credits could be restored for most authors.
tsection.dat not needed, runs fine without it.
XTracks 3.5 or higher required.
Will run in all seasons, but many summer textures used (up to the author to care for SNOW if he wishes...)So get it there if you want a troublefree route !If you like The-Train.de, please support us with your Premium Membership !
