No, of course not...they certainly don't think YOU'RE rich. That's why they've created a version of the F7A especially for charity cases. One look at your pitiful tax statements was all it took to convince them to produce a version ENTIRELY for you!
In fact, it's better than the freeware demo you probably already have! If you will download their 'special' one-of-kind-what-do-think-i-am-rich version THEY'LL pay YOU! Imagine, you get the royalties for THEIR ambition. Jes' like them ol' welfare checks you been gettin' ain't it? Kinda like them foodstamps that'll let you pay for a .39 cent item with a $50 foodstamp and then YOU get change. Then you get to buy cigarettes, cheap liquor, and other nonessentials with. Ain't life grand? Look for YOUR special download in the library under F7Acheapshit.zip

"RE: will we have to pay for the f7" bluezzmannL M A O...your the best at explaining thingsPersonally, I can't wait to pay for something to see if that "crap" is better than the free "crap" that I am forced to overload my computer with.I don't see why people are worried about the payware. None of it is out yet and we don't know the price it will be. This here Train Sim keeps gettin' better every day.Chuck Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-14-01, 01:39 PM (EST) 3. "RE: will we have to pay for the f7" Love your sarcasm bluezmann! To many people here in Minnesota don't get it.We live in a free market society and if someone wants to ask for money for their product, it's there choice. Whether they keep asking and how much they will charge will depend on what the market bears. It's simple economics. If people don't buy the products, the makers either start giving it away or stop making them for public use. Don't know why some people are getting so bent out of shape on this subject. Don't buy the product if you can't either afford it or think it is wrong. It's your free choice. People need to ask themselves what they would do. I think all the people at 3Dtrains do this as a hobby, they have other jobs and families. So after spending a hundred hours(my guess) making the F7, do they give it away or ask for compensation? If you don't want to pay for it, then go out and buy a 3D software and create your own. Oh silly me, what I'm I saying. You can't afford the 20 dollars for 20 engines so how can you afford the $4000 for 3DMax! Sarcasim off! And this isn't an attack at any one person. Just my point of view.David Klemm

Aug-14-01, 02:36 PM (EST) 12. "RE: stop with the sarcasm boffs" Your first post was not a "simple question", it was a troll post. I think it's been pretty well stated by the folks at 3dtrains that the F7 would be payware, they have made no secret of that fact. Whether you are rich or not is something we can't answer, but I think one would need at least a basic eduction to be able to make a lot of money. As one of those people who have shared some of my "crap" freeware stuff with the community and plan on sharing more, I suggest you go find a game that lives up to your high standards and empty wallet.Cliff Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Freeware, payware, who cares...A company has every right to ask for some return for the investment they made (eg 3dStudioMax) if you don't want to buy it, it doesn't matter. And leave off freeware, if you don't like it - press DELETE.I mean its not like I think about money all the time or anything....Euston
