Greetings,I've had problems running MSTS lately, so thought I'd uninstall in and reinstall it.Now getting the problem and send info to MS message.Tried scandisk and defrag between installs, but still no luck. It's driving me crazy!!Wonder if anyone may have any ideas please?I'm running XP with all patches and installing from original disks. Thanks very much.Steve
I guess the first question to ask would be; When you un-installed, did you go to Windows Explorer and delete the Train Sim folder? If you didn't, that may explain why you're having problems. What ever was causing the problem before would still be there if you didn't delete the folder. Maybe someone else will have some other ideas.Hawk"First thing I remember knowin', was that lonesome whistle blowin'-And a yungun's dream of growing up to ride- On a freight train leavin' town, not knowin' where I'm bound. Had problems running MSTS recently. What problems ? What did you do to your machine or installed which could be the cause of them ?Having re-installed MSTS after removing all remnants of it first, don't forget to install the April 2002 Update also !O t t o
Yes, make sure you reinstall the MSTS 1.2 update. Also when you reinstall make sure you check the box that says recopy existing files. If you are using any freeware add on routes, make sure you reinstall xtracks.Take care, Rich S.
