Every time I click on start, the screen just goes black for about 10 seconds then a "Would you like to send an error report" message comes up
Does anyone have a solution?

RE: I am having a problem

Have you added any routes or any new cars or locomotives? If so remove the route or cars and see if this corrects your problem.Nascarphan

RE: I am having a problem

I agree with the above.....What I would do is if you added a particular route...find it and move it into another part of your computer. Then try to run MSTS. It may be a proccess of elimination. But some routes will comflict with others.
I had a conflict between London Brighton route and the Chicago El. Well I removed the Chicago El and it works now.BobFlorida Railfan Page

>But some routes will comflict with others. How so?The only way I'm aware that one route may affect any other route is if the route has a custom global tsection.dat file.-Jeff

RE: I am having a problem

When you say "I click on start" you don't mean the "Start" Button in the Task Bar but "Double-click" on the MSTS Desktop Shortcut Icon ?As mentioned in another post, what did you do to MSTS or your machine since it worked last ? Could also be an updated Graphics Driver or a new Game installing DirectX-9 ?O t t o

Routes crashing

I am not sure how...but it happens....The London Brighton route from the UK has 3rd rail tracks as did the CER route. When I installed the UK route and WHAM Send don't send. When I moved the CER to another folder I was (and still am) up and running). The London Brighton route makers also warn that if you have one of the mag lev routes it will also crash.I came to this conclusion because a while back L2 conflicted with the Indy Line version 1. When I moved L2 it worked.BobFlorida Railfan Page
